2nd Annual Clothes for Comfort Clothing Drive in Need of Donations

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — As the winter season continues in Southern Nevada, many people struggling with basic necessities need warm clothing this time of year.

Clark County Commissioner Marilyn Kirkpatrick hopes her second annual clothing drive for the comfort of children and young adults will help many people this time of year.

“Too many of our friends and neighbors are struggling to find basic necessities for their families,” Commissioner Kirkpatrick said. “Through this clothing drive, we can help ease some of their burden.”

Donations of new or gently used clothing can be dropped off at any Clark County recreation or community center, any Port location, or the County Government Center at 500 S. Grand Central Parkway downtown from Las Vegas from February 1 to March 1.

All lightly used clothing that is donated must be clean, washed and stain free.
