Katie Price’s baby clothes range ‘shuts down after just six months’

Katie Price has teamed up with her sister Sophie for Little Pricey Clothing, but despite announcing it in September last year the brand has reportedly failed to take off.

Katie Price has a variety of different businesses, but her latest venture reportedly failed to take off

Katie Price’s baby clothes line is said to have closed after just six months.

Little Pricey Clothing, which the glamorous ex-model launched last September with her sister Sophie, has had a series of problems in recent months.

The business was registered in March last year, but after a tough time in Katie’s life – which saw her arrested for driving while intoxicated – the clothing brand disbanded without selling a single item.

According to The sun Little Pricey Clothing’s big launch party had been canceled in December, and soon after Sophie requested that the business be removed from Companies House.

The Mirror has contacted representatives for Katie for comment.

Katie and Sophie share the same mother, Amy Price, but have different fathers – the mother-of-five’s father, Ray, left when she was a child, while Amy married Sophie’s father, Paul Price, in 1988.

The sisters also have a rarely seen older brother, Daniel.

In November, Katie’s rep insisted the model and author ‘still intends to launch a baby line this year’ but said family life helped put their business on hold .

“Sophie is soon to return to work after her maternity leave and her main focus will be Albert and learning to juggle full-time work with a new baby. Therefore, the account has currently been suspended,” they told The Sun.

After only six months – and without selling a single item – the brand would have folded

Katie and Sophie delighted fans in September when they appeared together on Good Morning Britain to talk about their relationship, as well as their exciting new clothing brand.

The 43-year-old said that despite her younger sister wanting to stay “private”, they were looking forward to working on Little Pricey Clothing together.

Sophie told hosts Susanna Reid and Alastair Campbell that she doesn’t even tell people she’s related to Katie and prefers to keep it quiet.

“To be honest, I don’t really tell a lot of people. Not that there is anything wrong with her! I’m just private,” she explained. “People kind of tend to discover themselves.”

Katie said most of her family tended to stay away from the spotlight for fear of “backlash” due to her fame.

“They take the hit. My family, if they see a headline or something because we’re all so close, they get the backlash,” she sadly shared.

Sophie also revealed she was called ‘nasty names’ at school after pals found out her sister was Katie.

“She’s been seen in the public eye since I was about six years old,” she said. “Girls just say nasty things, but when you’re like teenagers, you know what girls can be like, but now it’s okay.”
