The Greater Peterborough Chamber of Commerce and the Kawartha Chamber of Commerce and Tourism recently confirmed that they will consolidate their operations at the end of this year.
Following a membership vote that showed 97 percent support for the move, an interim board of directors will work through the next year to ensure a successful transition. The chamber operates in Peterborough County and provides its members with information on advocacy, marketing and business.
And both chambers are putting the finishing touches on their annual Business Excellence Awards.
Chambers have called on the community to join our businesses this year and both have received record numbers of registrations. The Peterborough Chambers virtual event will take place on October 20. Details are available at peterboroughchamber.ca.
The Kawartha Chamber event will take place on October 28 with details on kawarthachamber.ca.
