Outside, Texas settled on Lowest Greenville.

The retailer closed its Mockingbird Station store in December and is located at 1925 Greenville Ave., where Bella & Brawn was located. Bella & Brawn plans to open in March in the Bishop Arts District.

Brandon Yates, co-founder and owner of the store, said the Mockingbird station location was originally meant to be a two-month pop-up. The mall ended up being Outside, Texas’ home for 14 months.

Yates also said the mall doesn’t get a lot of foot traffic.

“When we found an opportunity to have something here in Lower Greenville, we jumped on it,” Yates said.

On the outside, Texas will eventually move to a location across the street in Greenville, where construction is underway. Three tenants – including Outside, Texas in the middle – are planned for the area, which is now fenced. Yates hopes to be open in the new location by March.

Yates said the space across the street was almost exactly the same width as his temporary location, but was a bit deeper and had a loft.

“I’m really excited about how it’s going to feel,” Yates said. “There will be lots of windows in the front, so good lighting.”
