The Apple Watch has been the most popular smartwatch since its advent in 2015. In fact, it has been so popular that it has not only overtaken all other smartwatches, but in 2019, the Apple Watch has in fact surpassed the entire Swiss watch industry, which includes manufacturers like Rolex, Swatch, TAG Heuer and Tissot. Naturally, with more and more Apple Watch in the works, more and more people are looking for accessories, such as new bracelets, cases, and chargers, to make their Apple Watch feel more personal. And boy, there are a lot of them out there.

The good news is that the Apple Watch hasn’t changed. this in past years. It still looks the same and the chargers are exactly the same, for example. There are really only two things to remember when purchasing an Apple Watch accessory.

First, the Apple Watch Series 4, Series 5, Series 6, and SE all have the same case size, so the same case or screen protector will work with all of them. The two outliers are the new Series 7, which has a larger screen, and Series 3, which shares the old design of Series 1 and 2 (which Apple no longer manufactures.)

And second, if you’re shopping for a group, make sure you get the right size. All of the latest Apple Watches are available in two sizes. The 4, 5, 6 and SE series are all available in 40mm and 44mm, while the new 7 series is available in 41mm and 45mm. However, if you buy a watch band, the Series 7 is backwards compatible for watch bands (meaning the 41mm model will work with older 40mm watch bands, and so will the 45mm model. mm with 44 mm watch straps).

If you are in the market for a new bracelet for your Apple Watch, the truth is that Apple sells a lot big ones. Some of these are exclusive, like the all-new Solo Loop ($ 49) and Braided Solo Loop ($ 99), and must be purchased directly from Apple. However, Amazon also sells many of the same groups for a bit less. (Check them out here.)
